For the last two Sundays Olivia has been screaming and crying when we take her to nursery and says she wants to go with us to our class. The first week we let her just because she had never had a problem going to nursery before and we didn't know why she was so scared all of a sudden. This last week we decided we don't want her to think she can always go with us so we made her stay. She screamed and sobbed uncontrollably the ENTIRE time. I couldn't just leave her like that so I stood out in the hallway and kept peeking in without getting caught. That is pretty hard for a Mommy to listen to. She cried so long and hard that she eventually fell asleep in one of the chairs and slept the last hour. After church, we always go over the my parents for dinner and this was the conversation Olivia had with her Papa:
Grandpa: "Did you have fun at church today?"
Grandpa: "Did you have fun at church today?"
Lou: "No, I got in trouble."
Grandpa: "Why did you get in trouble?"
Lou: "Cause I screamed."
Grandpa: "Why'd you scream?"
Lou: "I just wanted to go with Mommy and Daddy and Callen. (sigh) My Mommy drives me crazy."
What a stinker.
What a stinker.
