Guess who is as cute as can be and 2 months old?

This guy is!!!

I cannot tell you how much we love this little guy.  He has turned into a GREAT baby.  Carson is really smiling good now and loves to give Mommy big gummy smiles, especially in the mornings.  I am so glad the smiles are here, it really makes feeding him at 3 in the morning a bit more worth it.  He is also cooing a bit and has to be one of the best things in the world.  He is only waking up once a night, from about 3-4, and then sleeps in until 7:30 or 8.  Not too bad.  It will still be nice when he is through the night, I feel like it is close.

He lost his hair on the top this month but he was only old man bald for about 2 weeks.  His hair is growing back in but I can't tell what color it is yet.  (It has a red tint... I would love to have a red haired child!)

His little thighs are getting a bit chubby... LOVE that.  He is delicious and lovely and snuggley and smiley and just perfect.

Someday he will be so mad we have these pictures....

but you gotta love a little boy in heels.

Horsin' Around

I love these two.  And they love to ride these horses.  They were a gift from Grandma Terri when Carson was born and they are very much loved.

Olivia with her horse Hercules

They have even let Daddy in on the horse riding.  He gets Bullseye and is such a good daddy to actually go ride and play with them.  Casey frequently gets handed Bullseye by his horse loving son.

Gotta love the pink cowboy hat, that's what you get when you have a sister to give you hand me downs!

And this is what Carson gets to do while his siblings are riding around... only too soon he will be out there too!!!

Carson's blessing

We were able to have Carson blessed on April 29th.  He was exactly a month old and the blessing was perfect.  Casey blessed him and most of our families were able to come.
On thing Casey blessed him with was to be a peacemaker between his siblings.  That will be nice.
Since we have Sacrament at 9 in the morning, we had everyone over after for brunch.  Thanks to many helpers in the kitchen (especially Casey's aunt, Jill) we were able to get pancakes, ham, eggs, and fruit to everyone pretty quickly.  It was so nice to see everyone and even though little Carson won't remember it, it was a pretty special and perfect day for him.

Dancin' girl

Our sweet little Lou Lou had a dance competition on April 21st.  A dance competition for a 3 year old??? Yeah, I was a little disturbed too.  Even so, she was DANG cute!! Olivia has some anxiety issues when she is around a bunch of people so I was a bit worried that she wouldn't go out and perform.  And she was a bit worked up and crying as I got her in her costume and lined up with the other girls but as soon as she was on the dance floor, she was great.

Her first dance was a tap dance to "I Just Can't Wait to be King" from Lion King.  All the girls looked so adorable in their little costumes.  Olivia didn't dance too much but sang the ENTIRE song with a few of the dance moves thrown in.  It was so funny but so Lou Lou.  She loves to sing, maybe I have put her in the wrong extra-curricular activity!!
She's the one of the left sneaking a look at the dance floor

ROAR!!!

Her second dance was a lyrical dance to "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella, Olivia's favorite princess.  She loved dressing up like Cinderella but was pretty mad at me for making her wear the little choker necklace.  She got over it.  She danced a little bit more to this song but still sang the majority of it.

Oh she melts my heart.
