Our sweet little Lou Lou had a dance competition on April 21st. A dance competition for a 3 year old??? Yeah, I was a little disturbed too. Even so, she was DANG cute!! Olivia has some anxiety issues when she is around a bunch of people so I was a bit worried that she wouldn't go out and perform. And she was a bit worked up and crying as I got her in her costume and lined up with the other girls but as soon as she was on the dance floor, she was great.
Her first dance was a tap dance to "I Just Can't Wait to be King" from Lion King. All the girls looked so adorable in their little costumes. Olivia didn't dance too much but sang the ENTIRE song with a few of the dance moves thrown in. It was so funny but so Lou Lou. She loves to sing, maybe I have put her in the wrong extra-curricular activity!!

Her second dance was a lyrical dance to "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" from Cinderella, Olivia's favorite princess. She loved dressing up like Cinderella but was pretty mad at me for making her wear the little choker necklace. She got over it. She danced a little bit more to this song but still sang the majority of it.
Oh she melts my heart.
