T minus 2 weeks

I have 2 weeks until my due date!!!! I am so excited.

I feel like I haven't done as much for this pregnancy so I decided I would write at least one post about it.

Maybe it is because this isn't my first time being pregnant and I don't have to worry about getting so much stuff because I have most of it from Olivia.

Or maybe it is because Olivia runs 24/7 so I haven't had time to really think and worry about this pregnancy.

Either way, I feel a little bad.

{This picture was taken at Olivia's birthday so I was 33 weeks along}

So for 9 months of prego info into one post, you are in for a fun read. Not really, but since I make a yearly book of my posts I am doing this for my own journal; sorry everybody else.

I started this pregnancy really sick. It didn't help that our whole house caught the stomach flu when I was about 10 weeks along and already had bad morning sickness. I ended up losing 3 pounds in my first 3 months of being prego so my doctor put my on Zofran. It was my friend. I loved it and it took the vomiting away!!! With Olivia, after about 20 weeks I did not get morning sickness any more but I threw up randomly 3 times after that. With this baby I had to take Zofran until about 25 weeks and have only thrown up once since I started it. Wait, that is a lie. I threw up both nights I stayed in NYC but I think that was due to the nasty smells there and riding an elevator up and down to check on teenagers.

I don't remember being this sore and achy as I was with Olivia. I have had a pinched Sciatic nerve for about 4 months so that is really fun to try to walk around with and carry a two year old. I think the big thing is that I can't just go take a nap or sit down and relax a minute like I could with my first pregnancy because I have a toddler that I love and take care of.

Speaking of that toddler, she is doing pretty good at potty training. Still at least one accident a day but she is getting it. You didn't really think I could do a post and not talk about her at least a little bit right??? And have some cute pictures right??? I really don't know how much she understands about this baby brother coming though. She knows certain things are his, like his clothes, room, and blankets but I wonder if she just thinks I am crazy and have a room all made up for my growing belly. By the way, according to Olivia I am not the only one that has a baby brother in my belly... Papa has one too. I guess his is just a few years overdue!

{Big sister in training}

Something else fun about this soon to be big sister, she has started praying at dinner and it is so cute to listen to her. So this was her prayer the other night...

"Heavly Fader... Thank thee dis day... Bless the food... Bless baby brother come out of Mommy's belly... Jesus Christ... Amen."

Pretty cute huh?

{Isn't she a doll??? I just love this little girl!!}

So I have 2 weeks left. 13 days to be exact but who is counting?? I went to the doctor yesterday and he informed me I was dilated to a 3, about 70% thinned, and his head is just above my pelvis. Those are good signs. But I was dilated to a 4 and then a 5 with Olivia for 3 weeks so I am not too optimistic. I guess it does help explain the constant need to go to the bathroom, my very odd waddle, and the feeling or a bowling ball being held you know where.

Actually he told me something I was very glad to hear: If I haven't had him by Tuesday at my next appointment, when I am 39 weeks along, we can schedule me to be induced!! For some reason he did not want to induce me with Lou Lou so I went over 10 days. I was actually okay with it and went into labor myself. But I am thinking I just might let him induce me this time. I am thinking September 2nd would be a good day. I guess we will see what Dr. Jones thinks on Tuesday.
