We were able to go to Hogel Zoo the end of April. We love to visit the zoo and we loved going so early in the year. The weather was great and the zoo wasn't very busy.
And this year the kids were all old enough to kinda know what was going on.
Olivia's favorite was still the elephant. We had to visit them twice.
The boys had fun on the carousel. Carson was really curious as to what was happening but still enjoyed it. Olivia was set on riding an actual animal but chickened out at the end and rode on the little bench thing. The second time we rode it, mean mom forced her to sit on one of the animals that doesn't move. She FREAKED out as we were sitting there but realized once we were moving that it wasn't too bad. Maybe someday she won't be so afraid of things.
Mom's favorite, and I think the boys' favorite too, was still the seals and polar bear. We were able to sit and watch them for a long time.
Carson was just getting walking down and thought he was pretty neat when he could go walk with the big kids.
We had lots of fun and I'm sure will be back next year!!
