Happy Birthday Callen!

Happy Happy Birthday to my sweet Callen!!

 

On Sunday, September 9th, my little boy turned 2.  Since we have been having a bunch of construction trucks around these parts (yeah!), we decided to have a construction party.  It also worked since Callen is a bit obsessed with trucks right now.  

We let Callen open one of his presents a day early, mainly because I needed the little back hoe to put on his cake.  He loves these little construction trucks and playing in the dirt with them. 

His birthday was great.  We started off with going to church in the morning and then having family over for a little party that evening.  It was nice and relaxed and lots of fun.  

Callen of course got spoiled.  He got some cute cute clothes, trucks, cars, a baseball tee, and other wonderful things.  

His favorite present was a rocking horse and cowboy hat that he got while on the grandkids' traditional birthday shopping date with Grandma Terri and Papa Randy.

Callen thought his cake was pretty neat (and I was pretty proud of it too).  He also thought the lit candles were pretty neat too and almost grabbed one of them before he blew out his candles.  Luckily we stopped him and after a few attempts, he was able to get both candles out. 

Happy birthday my little fun, silly, sweet, loving, giggly, daredevil, and adventurous child!  We hope you had a great and special day just for you!
