Lou's 4th Birthday

Four years ago, our lives were forever changed when this little wonder entered the world.

Miss Olivia Chaliese turned four years old on July 20th.  Casey and I hung up balloons and party stuff around the house and when she woke up on her birthday she was very excited about it all.  She started the day by opening all her presents from us.  Her favorite was her pink puppy purse that was from her brothers.

Later that night we had a little birthday party for her.  She wanted a My Little Pony birthday so that is what she had.  Both sets of Grandparents were able to come and her best friend Emrie.  Her and Emrie always play so good together so we were happy her and her mommy and daddy were able to come out.

After playing and eating hamburgers and hot dogs, Lou opened up a her presents.

We saved one present for Olivia to get at her party, a bike.  We decided to get her one, even though we don't know how much she will ride it.  She has a slight crush on Diego (and he was 50% off) so she got that one.  Plus, now her brothers can maybe ride it when it is too small for her.

We also got a pinata for the kids to do.  It was a bit harder to brake then we thought but with a few extra powerful swings (with some parental help) the kids finally got 'er done!

After eating a bunch of candy from the pinata, it was time for cake and ice cream.  We sang Happy Birthday and after a few tries at the candles, Olivia finally blew out her candles.

Grandpa told the kids they could just get the frosting off with their fingers.
Aunt Reyna had to come a little late so Olivia got one last present after cake and ice cream.  And I guess she was saved the best for last because she LOVED this present.  It is not only her favorite birthday present but her favorite toy ever.  Good job Reyna and Brandon!

I think Olivia has a pretty good birthday.  We tried to make her feel extra special and have lots of fun.  She is our wonderful, smart, beautiful, sassy, smart, careful, delicious little girl.  I can't believe I only have one for year before she starts school (well, real school, preschool starts in the fall).

Happy birthday Olivia, here is to year four!!!
