A monkey and a witch

My little kiddos were so dang cute for Halloween!!! I know this post is a little late but I still wanted to write about the fun we had. Olivia was a 'ballerina witch' and Callen was a monkey. Most people did not know what Olivia was because she did not like to keep her hat on.

Practicing "trick or treat!" with Papa

On Friday we went to the trick or treat in Old Town with Grandma. A few of the costumes scared my little witch but she thought it was pretty neat when she would see someone dressed up in a costume she knew, like the little pink thing from Yo Gabba Gabba (side note- I can't stand that show!).

A Day to Adore was doing free pictures so of course we had to take one!!

Callen during trick or treating

Lou Lou trick or treating with Grandma
On Saturday, Casey was able to go trick or treating a bit with the kids and me. We went to the mall and did the trick or treating with the Chubbuck police.
After that we went a trick or treated at a few houses in my aunt's neighborhood. We went to my aunt's house first and then went in and talked to her for a few minutes. I guess this made Olivia think that we went into everybody's house after they gave her candy because the next 2 houses after that (we only went to 3 total ) she would say trick or treat and then try to walk into their house. We had to talk to her about how we only say trick or treat and then wait outside and we don't go into people's houses that we don't know. She did better on the third house and actually waited on the porch. She even got her favorite candy at that house, a pink sucker!!! (Not Mom's favorite for her to have but that's okay!)

We had a lot of fun and can't wait for next Halloween now that Olivia is kind of getting it!! I'm sure this is the last year Mommy got to pick out her costume too so that will be exciting!

Love the costumes! I can't believe how big they are! I tried to talk Kynzee into being a witch, but she didn't want anything to do with what Mommy chose :) Your kids are adorable!
