7 years

This year Casey and I were able to celebrate our anniversary.  We have not done anything besides a quick dinner by ourselves since before children (not that I am complaining, I love taking my kiddos with me places). My parents were so great and kept the kids overnight so we could go out of town.  Where you ask?? The awesome and exotic... Idaho Falls.  Yeah, only 40 minutes away but still awesome to get away.  We went up Friday night, and came back Saturday(our actual anniversary) since Callen's birthday was Sunday.

When we got to IF we went out to dessert (at 10pm) at Chili's.  It was so nice and so weird to be out that late and not have to share my dessert with 3 little mouths.  We stayed at the Shiloh Inn, which we thought was a nice hotel.  Thought, not think.  This poor hotel has definitely seen better days.  Everything is outdated and old looking, the pool was green (no, we didn't get in it), and we don't think they have done anything to maintain the place since they built it.  It is so sad because you can see that it has potential to be an awesome hotel.  One big plus was the room was huge and it had a balcony that overlooked the greenbelt and IF temple.  Ducks were on the river in the morning and it was so nice to sit out there and watch them.

On Saturday, we went to this fun little place and rented n UTV.  The guy we rented it from was this funny old man from London.  He gave us a tour of the little camping area and had us pick out some awesome helmets.  He told us we ahd to wear the helmets off the property but after.... They were so cool though that we ended up wearing them the whole time.

We were suppose to drive it to this really cool river view but we got a bit lost and never made it there.  It was still really pretty and fun driving around though. We were even lucky enough to see a bunch of slow elk (cows)!!
