You started crawling on December 29th, 2012. At first you were pretty slow and stiff but you quickly got the hang of it and are not a super crawler. You are now pulling yourself up on everything and starting to cruise around the furniture a bit.
At your doctors appointment on January 2, 2013 you came in at 18 lbs 6 oz (17th percentile) and 28 1/2" (57th percentile).
This month we were able to officially say goodbye to the reshaping helmet on January 16, 2013! When we first went into the doctor for your head, your discrepancy was about 2 centimeters and we were able to get you down to 0.3, which is pretty good. Everyone is so glad to be done with that stinky helmet.
This month we also said good bye to you sleeping good at nights. It seems like you are trying to cut some teeth and you just cry and cry at nights. You have also been sick a lot, which is not helping the sleeping at night thing.
You love being chased, either when somebody is holding and running with you or you are just crawling away. You laugh so hard and it is quickly becoming a favorite game. You also love Daddy and will snuggle him better than you will Mommy; as you can guess, Mommy doesn't like this too much.
We were able to move into our new house this month and you have learned how to
go up the stairs but not down them. You are also able to play with Olivia and Callen more since you are crawling. You also started pulling yourself up on these towards the end of the month. You are getting so big!!
You got your first haircut on January 25, 2013. Daddy had been trying to cut if for a couple of months now and Mommy finally gave in. You look so handsome with your cut hair!
