Last Sunday (March 1st) it was so nice outside, so we decided to go for a walk after church. I love going for walks!!! Plus, I won't be the pregnant lady waddling around the neighborhood this year, so that is even better! Last summer we went for walks all the time and hopefully we will be able to this year too. It was still a little chilly so we bundled Olivia up so she stayed nice and warm. She had fun. She loved to just look around at everything. And of course Dexter had fun, lots of new smells and plenty of things to leave his mark on!!

On a sadder note, I have to stop nursing Livie. I was really shooting for a year but I guess 7 months will have to do. I really don't want to stop but for some reason I have lost my milk supply. I have been trying different things that people have told me to try to get my supply back but nothing is working. So instead of making my daughter suffer, I am going to stop. So we will be using what milk I have stored and then on to formula! It is kind of weird, I was very unsure of nursing and kind of freaked out about the whole thing while I was pregnant, and really struggled with it for the first month or so, but I love it now and am really going to miss it. I loved that it was MY time with my daughter, nobody else could do that for her, I did not have to share that joy. I know that is selfish but it's true. And it made me feel good that I was able to provide the nourishment my daughter needed. Maybe other nursing mothers out there can sympathize with me. If you don't have children and are debating about nursing, I say do it. Even when it is hard, do it because it is a wonderful experience. I will really miss it. Sorry everyone, I know I am going on and on here, but this really is a big deal for me. Guess something I get to look forward to for baby #2, whenever that may be!!!

i'm sorry to hear that nursing time is over. i was really sad for the first month after brig was done (8 months), but thankfully i had a month's worth of milk stored up so i mixed it with formula to make it last longer. i miss burning those extra 600 calories a day, too!
